Year 2012#

In December 2012, two members of the Island School community visited Baiwan. They played games with the children in Hei Moong Primary School and distributed some Christmas gifts prepared by students in 7W of the Island School. They also sponsored the Baiwan Secondary School to renovate its school kitchen.

In November 2012, thirty-three Island School teachers and students visited Baiwan. They taught in various schools, visited some local villages and had basketball matches with Nan An Primary School and Baiwan Secondary School. They bought new basketball boards for Hei Moong Primary School. They sponsored new desks and chairs for the school Multi-media room. They also distributed scarves and hats to children in the school.

In July 2012, Baiwan Charity sponsored a group of post-secondary students based in Guangdong to run a two-week summer camp for students in Xi Wang Primary School. The activities involved English, Mathematics and general knowledge.

In June 2012, fifteen members of the Island School community visited Baiwan. They taught some lessons in Xi Wang Primary School. They sponsored four graduates of Baiwan Secondary School to continue high school education in Qingyuan. They presented scholarship to twenty P6 students in Xi Wang Primary School who did well at the end-of-term exam.
