External support#

In light of the hardships of Bai Wan, a lot of money has been put in the community from all over the world including Hong Kong, Macau and Japan. New school buildings and a children’s home were built since 1995 and some scholarships are also established.

In recent years, the government has provided adequate funding to improve school facilities. But the schools are heavily under-staffed due to the remoteness of Baiwan.
